Sweden - the hidden secret of European horse racing
Svensk Galopp, internationally known as the Swedish Horseracing Authority, is the ruling body of Thoroughbred and Arabian racing in Sweden. We stage approximately 70 race days per annum with over €6 million in prize money on offer. The Swedish racing calendar includes two Group 3 races and 13 Listed races.

Swedish Derby victory for Schamyl
Former jockey Jan-Erik Neuroth has enjoyed a dream start to his career, achieving a victory the first time he saddled a horse in the Swedish Derby. After a nail-biting photo finish, his horse Schamyl was declared the winner. Read more

Swedish Derby day races moved to Monday evening
As previously reported, a serious accident involving the starting stalls occurred at Jägersro on Sunday, causing this year's major Derby Day event to be halted after the first race. On Sunday evening, it was decided that the remaining races will take place tomorrow evening, Monday, July 15. Read more
