Kick On strikes again in the Listed Swedish Open Mile

The Niels Petersen-trained Kick On won the Listed Lelle's Legacy Swedish Open Mile at Bro Park in Stockholm on Wednesday 29 July.

The Lelle's Legacy Swedish Open Mile was set for an interesting duel between the two Norwegian-trained horses Kick On and Duca Di Como.

Once again, the Niels Petersen-trained Kick On proved to be the strongest on the Bro Park turf. The son of Charm Spirit scored with a length from Duca Di Como in second and Victor Kalejs in third.

The former John Gosden-trained Kick On won the Group 3 Tattersalls Sovereign Stakes at Salisbury and the Listed bet365 Feilden Stakes last year, before being purchased privately by Elkär Stutteri and put in training with Niels Petersen in Norway. In June, he landed the Group 3 Stockholms Stora Pris at Bro Park.
