Press release from Racing Breaks: Racing Breaks are taking bookings for their second trip to the Stockholm Cup International, with the UK-based travel company offering a three-night experience that includes an archipelago boat cruise and a guided tour of Sweden’s Royal Stables.

Guests will again be offered the chance to stay at Stockholm’s 5* Grand Hotel, with breakfast and access to the hotel gym included. The company’s two and three-night experiences are both inclusive of return flights from London Heathrow to Stockholm Arlanda, and Arlanda Express tickets will be provided for travel to and from the city centre.

There is also the option of joining the trip from elsewhere, with the company offering bespoke flights from a range of airports, or the option to remove flights from itineraries.

“We were delighted to take guests to Bro Park last year,” said Xander Brett, who’ll be leading the trip for a second time. “The atmosphere was electric in 2023, and it was wonderful to see Frankie Dettori in Sweden during his ‘Farewell Tour’. Frankie may have relocated to America, but the local stars will be out in force again this year. We look forward to providing travellers with unique behind-the-scenes access to the Swedish racing world.”

Guests on last year’s inaugural trip met Swedish jockey Ulrika Holmquist over drinks at the Grand Hotel. They also spoke to Hollie Doyle on race day and were given an opportunity to pose questions to Sweden’s champion jockey Per Anders Gråberg and leading trainer Patrick Wahl, who gave guests a tour of his stables.

Gråberg and Wahl will be on hand again this year, when guests will also enjoy the tipping services of racecourse commentator David Crona as they tuck into a three-course lunch and wine in the panoramic Bro Park Krog racecourse restaurant. Coach transfers to and from the track are included, as is access inside the parade ring and a champagne reception with owners and trainers.

Places on the fully chaperoned trip start at 12 714 SEK (£949) per person for a two-night flight inclusive experience, which excludes an archipelago boat cruise and royal stable tour. For a three-night experience, inclusive of the above excursions and flights, prices start at 17 408 SEK (£1,299) per person.

Experiences without flights are priced at 11 416 SEK (£849) and 16 112 SEK (£1,199) per person for two-night and three-night stays respectively.

Racing Breaks gives you 5% off the price if you book before 30 April and quote "SG5".
