27 January 2026 11:23
Press release from Racing Breaks: Having already taken guests on three successful trips to Bro Park (in 2023, 2024 and 2025), London-based travel company Racing Breaks has revealed that its trip to the 2026 Stockholm Cup International will be offered exclusively to members of the Injured Jockeys Fund (IJF).
Racing Breaks will be donating 5 per cent of each booking to the IJF, a charity that has supported thousands of jockeys and their families, not least through running a network of rehabilitation centres across the UK.
Prospective travellers who aren’t yet members of the IJF can join from £45 (c 557 SEK) per person via a link on the Racing Breaks Stockholm Cup webpage, giving them the chance to join the exclusive trip, which offers behind-the-scenes access to the heart of Swedish racing.
Flight-inclusive packages also feature return Arlanda Express train tickets from the airport to Stockholm city centre, transfers to and from Bro Park Racecourse and 5* accommodation at the Grand Hôtel Stockholm, a national institution in the heart of Sweden’s capital. Additionally, clients will be given a private tour of Stockholm’s Royal Stables, home to the monarchy’s ceremonial horses, carriages, sleds and cars.
At Bro Park, clients will tour the stables of a leading trainer, before being introduced to a leading jockey and joining owners and breeders for drinks. A three-course lunch will be served in the track’s panoramic Krog restaurant.
“This carefully curated experience to one of Europe’s most beautiful capital cities, staying in one of the finest hotels, offers exclusive behind-the-scenes access to one of the world’s most modern racetracks,” said Aaron Taylor, Managing Director of Racing Breaks. “We’re proud to be partnering with the IJF, which recently looked after our ambassador Jim Crowley, and look forward to raising money for this incredible charity.”
Guests will, as usual, be chaperoned by Xander Brett, who said that by joining the trip clients were “supporting a charity that works to help both jockeys and their families.” Brett added that clients would “relish the chance to meet the stars of Scandinavian racing.”
Flight-inclusive packages are based on a four-day itinerary, with clients flying out on Friday 18th September and flying home on Monday 21st September, a day after the Stockholm Cup fixture on Sunday 20th September.
“We’re thrilled to offer this exciting experience to supporters of the IJF,” said the IJF’s Paul Taplin. “The trip will provide a unique package for like-minded racing enthusiasts and raise funds for the IJF at the same time. We’re delighted that Racing Breaks have created this bespoke package for our members.”
