A serious accident involving the starting stalls after the opening race on the Swedish Derby Day unfortunately required us to cancel the remaining races on Sunday.

A technical fault caused the structure of the starting stalls to break when being moved on the track.

At the time of the accident, a member of the starting stall staff was severely injured. Paramedics were called, and the person was taken to the hospital. The injuries were not considered life-threatening. On Sunday evening, we received the positive news that the person's injuries are less severe than initially feared, given the circumstances.

No horses were near the stalls at the time of the accident.

On Sunday evening, it was decided that the remaining races will be held tomorrow evening, Monday, July 15. More information can be found here.
